“Grief led me to the kitchen. Healing invited me to share the table.” - Jadacy
A Taste of Healing is a soulful culinary platform that sits at the intersection of grief, grace, and gorgeous gatherings. Founded by Jadacy Shepard Engram after the stillbirth of her son, this space was born in heartbreak—and transformed into a purpose-driven movement. What began as personal therapy in the kitchen became a sacred way to process pain and reconnect with God.
We use food as a gateway to healing conversations, sisterhood, and restoration—served with intention, styled with beauty, and rooted in faith. Our experiences are designed not only to nourish the body and comfort the soul, but to remind women that even in sorrow, there is still softness, there is still sacredness, and there is still style.
Through intimate dinners, storytelling, and community support, A Taste of Healing creates space for Black women to grieve out loud, be seen, and begin again—with beauty, dignity, and boldness.
